Congrats to Katie Harrington and Ken Murray on winning their €550 tickets to the €250,000 Guaranteed Irish Poker Championship (IPC) this past Thursday, in what was the first in a series of weekly Thursday night satellites The Eglinton will be running.
Myself and Patrick McGinley finished 3rd and 4th, picking up €160 and €100. Which I will definitely be treating as 3 more bullets to take a shot at a ticket in the coming weeks. Two Tickets and €260 cash was a great prizepool generated from 23 entries in this €50 buy-in(with a max of 1 re-entry).
I can really only see this satellite getting bigger and better each Thursday, especially as any player winning a second ticket can use this towards enter into any of the side events at the IPC, January 5th– 8th or in The Winter Festival, being run in conjunction with the Irish Poker Tour, in The Eglinton Dec 15th – 18th.
